The voids cannot be seen from the outside
Research is based on the interest in exploring the construction of objects in small formats from the conflict between the “inside and the outside” of things. The pieces are made from the appropriation of waste materials such as paper packaging, accessory or jewelry boxes with different shapes and origins belonging to me or donated by others. These packages become “bodies” that receive fictitious organs, drawn on tracing paper, which I use as a reference, images of organs of the female reproductive system and, later, these drawings are embroidered with red lines. These embroidered papers are inserted inside the packages and can be glued to the surfaces or immersed in Vaseline, thus creating a contrast between an improbable interior in an impossible and disposable body.
